Salah satu pendidikan karakter yang harus dikembangkan adalah nilai karakter mandiri. Pendidikan karakter mandiri bertujuan untuk membentuk watak, akhlak, budi pekerti, dan mental individu agar tidak bergantung pada bantuan orang lain dalam menyelesaikan tugasnya. Penilaian karakter mandiri yang biasanya dilakukan di sekolah dan secara tatap muka langsung ketika masa pandemi menjadi kendala,. Tujuan Penelitian untuk mengetahui cara mengembangkan instrumen penilaian mandiri pada masa pandemi, untuk mengetahui kualitas instrumen penilaian mandiri yang akan dikembangkan dilihat dari validitas dan reliabilitasnya, untuk mengetahui hasil instrumen yang telah diujicobakan kepada peserta didik sekolah dasar. Penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti adalah jenis penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development). Hasil uji validitas terhadap lembar kerja siswa berdasarkan validasi ahli semua soal berkriteria sangat relevan dan dinyatakan valid, oleh karena itu validasi ahli hanya dilakukan sekali. Lembar kerja siswa dikatakan efektif dan layak, serta tidak ada saran perbaikan sehingga lembar kerja siswa dapat langsung digunakan sebagai instrumen penelitian. Nilai croncbach’s alpha 0.880 > 0.60 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ke 15 butir pertanyaaan atau semua butir pertanyaan angket untuk variable “penilaian afektif aspek kemandirian siswa sekolah dasar” adalah reliabel atau konsisten. Hasil rotasi varimax. Variabel-variabel sudah terdistribusikan pada masing-masing faktor yaitu 3 faktor yang terbentuk.
Self-Exploration: Development of innovative assessment tools for primary school students
