Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) pembelajaran teks diskusi berdasarkan pendekatan genre. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research & Development (R&D) dengan mengadaptasi model pengembangan Borg & Gall (1983). Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, wawancara, dan observasi. Data berupa skor dikonversi menjadi nilai dengan mengacu pada Criterion Reference Assesment (CRA). Data kualitatif berupa kritik dan saran dianalisis sebagai acuan merevisi produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKS pembelajaran teks diskusi berdasarkan pendekatan genre yang dikembangkan mendapat penilaian baik. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran menunjukkan kategori sangat baik. Respon siswa terhadap LKS sangat positif. Respon guru terhadap LKS pada uji coba awal sangat positif dan pada uji coba utama positif. Tingkat penguasaan siswa terhadap materi yang ada di dalam LKS berada pada kategori baik dan sangat baik, hanya satu LK, yakni materi menentukan topik utama dalam sebuah paragraf yang memiliki tingkat penguasaan cukup.

 

Student worksheets for discussion text learning are based on a genre approach for junior high school students

 

Abstract

This study aims to generate student worksheet to write discussion text based on a genre approach. This type of research was the Research & Development (R&D) adapting the model developed by Borg and Gall (1983). The data were collected using questionnaires, interviews, and observations. Data in the form of a score were converted to the value concerning the Criterion Reference Assessment (CRA). Qualitative data in the form of criticism and suggestions were analysed as a reference to revise the product. The results show that the student worksheets to learning discussion texts based on genre approach that were developed are considered good. The implementation of learning shows excellent categories. Students' response to student worksheets is very positive. The teachers'  response to the student worksheet at the preliminary field testing is very positive and in the main field testing is positive. The level of student mastery of the material that is in the student worksheet is in good and excellent categories; there is only one material that has sufficient mastery level, which determines the main topic in a paragraph.
