Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen penilaian sikap santun siswa sekolah dasar serta menguji validitas, reliabilitas, dan hasil analisisnya menggunakan aplikasi SPSS. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV, V, dan VI di SD Negeri Semayu, SD Negeri Banjar, dan SD Negeri 1 Gadingrejo. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket online menggunakan Google Form. Validitas isi diuji oleh tiga ahli (expert judgement) yang menyatakan semua butir sangat relevan. Uji reliabilitas menggunakan Cronbach's Alpha menghasilkan skor 0,865, yang menunjukkan instrumen sangat reliabel. Hasil angket dianalisis menggunakan SPSS melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan interpretasi. Instrumen terdiri dari 20 butir yang terbukti valid dan konsisten, serta dapat digunakan untuk mengukur sikap santun siswa secara efektif. Penelitian ini menunjukkan pentingnya penyusunan instrumen penilaian sikap berbasis konteks dan teknologi dalam mendukung pendidikan karakter di sekolah dasar.
Measuring the politeness of elementary school students: Instrument validity and reliability
Abstract: This study aims to develop an assessment instrument for measuring politeness in elementary school students and to test its validity, reliability, and application using SPSS. The research used a quantitative Research and Development (R&D) method. The subjects were 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students from SD Negeri Semayu, SD Negeri Banjar, and SD Negeri 1 Gadingrejo. Data were collected via a questionnaire distributed through Google Forms. Content validity was confirmed by three expert judgments, who found all items to be highly relevant. Reliability testing using Cronbach's Alpha yielded a score of 0.865, indicating strong internal consistency. The questionnaire responses were analyzed using SPSS through data reduction, presentation, and interpretation. The final instrument consists of 20 validated and reliable items. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the instrument in assessing students' politeness and highlight the importance of context-based and technology-supported character education assessment in elementary schools.
