Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan menguji kualitas instrumen penilaian kompetensi sikap kewirausahaan siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) model Djemari Mardapi. Uji coba dilakukan pada 105 siswa (terbatas) dan 150 siswa (luas) di SMK Kota Yogyakarta. Instrumen dikembangkan melalui angket daring dan divalidasi oleh empat ahli menggunakan formula Aiken (rata-rata 0,85) serta uji validitas empiris menggunakan product moment dan EFA. Hasil menunjukkan 28 item valid dan reliabel dengan nilai Cronbach’s alpha 0,929. Uji konstruk menghasilkan 7 faktor dominan. Skor rerata siswa sebesar 88,6 menunjukkan sikap kewirausahaan berada pada kategori cukup baik (40%). Simpulan, instrumen yang dikembangkan layak digunakan untuk mengukur sikap kewirausahaan siswa SMK secara valid dan reliabel.
Measuring entrepreneurial attitudes: Developing a valid and reliable instrument for vocational students
Abstract: This study aims to develop and evaluate the quality of an assessment instrument for entrepreneurial attitude competency among Vocational High School (SMK) students. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method based on the Djemari Mardapi model. The instrument was tested on 105 students (limited trial) and 150 students (expanded trial) in SMKs across Yogyakarta City. Data were collected using an online questionnaire and analyzed through expert validation (Aiken’s V average = 0.85), empirical validation (product moment), and Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA). Of the 35 items, 28 were found to be valid and reliable, with a Cronbach’s alpha of 0.929. Factor analysis revealed seven dominant factors. The average student score was 88.6, indicating that the majority (40%) demonstrated a fairly good level of entrepreneurial attitude. In conclusion, the developed instrument is valid and reliable for assessing entrepreneurial attitude competency among SMK students.
